An American icon, Crock-Pot Brand contracted with Wholefully over the holiday season in 2016 for a brand ambassadorship program that had impressive results.
Everyone knows what a Crock-Pot is, but not everyone knows the wide variety of yumminess that is perfectly made in a slow cooker. In late 2016, Crock-Pot contacted Wholefully looking to flip the script on traditional heavy, mealy, unappetizing slow cooking. Crock-Pot charged Wholefully to produce unusual, interesting, and creative slow cooker recipes all while showcasing their newest line of slow cookers.
Within one month of all of the content going live, the four posts had a combined reach of of over 85,000 (number includes social shares and pageviews). Reaction was overwhelmingly positive and, in many cases, product focused. Wholefully readers were almost as excited to learn about (and buy) new Crock-Pot products as they were to try out new recipes.
Part of the ask from the brand was to create a dual-branded video showcasing their product and a creative, interesting recipe. Wholefully went above and beyond, creating a video and post that explored three different appetizer recipes, just in time for holiday get-togethers.
The video performed well on both Facebook and Instagram.
